I hope this message gets to the Gaerne boot makers: my name is Dave Osborne and I've had my Gaerne Balance boots now for about 3 years. I was riding my DRZ400 down a semi narrow trail at about 25 mph with my toe hanging down below the peg (normally I'm on the balls of my feet but it was at the end of the ride and I was a little tired and lazy) when I hit a stump. I can't tell you how bad it hurt. All I can say is that "those Gaerne boots saved my little piggies bacon" I'm sure glad I chose Gaerne.

I was recently involved with a charity ride for the March Of Dimes. The event was wonderful and a great success, however mother nature through us a curve ball. Toward the end of the ride we were hit with a torrential down poor. Just the heaviest rain you could imagine. But my feet were dry, warm and comfortable. And worth every dime. These boots were made to last a life time and have stood up to some extreme use, if I ever manage to were them out I will purchase Gaerne again.
